About Afriq Silicon
We are a software development agency based on Lower Kabete Road in Nairobi. We build custom systems for institutions, NGOs and businesses, mostly in Kenya and across the wider continent, and we maintain our own SaaS product alongside that client work.
That second part matters more than it sounds. Running Spectabill, our billing platform, means we carry the maintenance burden of a live product ourselves, including the payment reconciliation and the upgrade paths. It is a different kind of knowledge from delivering a project and handing over the keys, and it shapes how we scope work for everyone else.
